At Connection Ministries, along with the congregations hosting Friendship/SonRise Groups, we want to keep you updated about exciting ministry opportunities! Our goal is to create authentic Christian communities where everyone feels safe and valued.

We ask that Friends with disabilities, family members, and volunteers participating in these ministries complete a simple online registration form. Family members are always welcome to join in!

Once you complete the registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Connection Ministries. Starting in the fall of 2025, local churches will take on the responsibility of screening their volunteers, as these ministries belong to their congregations.

For the safety of our Friends with disabilities, each church hosting Friendship/SonRise Groups or Summer Friendship Gatherings will reach out to volunteers to complete a criminal background check.
