A Call To Prayer
Joey is a new friend with an intellectual disability. After his first Bible study he left with new friends and a big smile. His mother later texted, “Joey talked nonstop when he got in the car—and he NEVER does that. Thank you so much; it was good to see him feeling good about something.” We see things like this happen just about in every group. Our friends know they have a place friendship, faith and belonging. God is so good.
The need—and the opportunity to share Christ’s love—is tremendous. Many adults with intellectual disabilities across Central Indiana are still waiting for friendship, belonging, and a welcoming church community.
On October 22nd Connection Ministries is asking you to set aside a couple of minutes and pray with us. Please pray God would provide financially as we grow, wisdom for new and existing groups and leaders, more volunteer companions to join our expanding groups, and seeds of faith to take root in our friends with disabilities. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer!
Please also consider a special gift to support new groups and strengthen existing ones. You can give online at www.connection-ministries.org or consider becoming a monthly donor. Every gift helps create places of friendship, faith, and belonging.
