Vision

Christian congregations are authentic faith communities that reach out, share the Good News of Jesus Christ, and embrace people with intellectual disabilities, their families, and caregivers, and grow together in their relationship with Christ.

Everyone needs friends, including people with intellectual disabilities, their families, and caregivers. Christian friends are present in each other’s lives to celebrate joys and support one another in the hard times.  Our vision reflects the authentic Christian community of the early church described in the second chapter of Acts.

Equip Christian Congregations to minister with adults with intellectual disabilities.

Our mission advances our goal to realize our vision of an authentic Christian community that embraces people with intellectual disabilities, their families, and caregivers.

How Connection Ministries Can Help

A vital role of Connection Ministries is to plant and support Bible-based ministries in Christian congregations to form Christ-centered relationships with adults with disabilities. Connection Ministries’ Consultants assists congregations with planning, recruiting, training, launching ministries and mentoring leadership.
