God’s Presence in Difficult Times

God’s Presence in Difficult Times – Episode 1 of 3  (23:28)

God is always present, both in our good times and bad. In these three episodes we will study the life of Joseph, starting in Genesis 37. Joseph did not start out with the faith of a super star. God worked through his difficult times to strengthen his faith and position himself to rescue his family, the family that would one day give birth to Jesus who saves all of us.

Lesson 1 focuses on Joseph’s early life, including the dreams he had from God, his father Jacob presenting him with a beautiful robe, and the jealousy of his brothers and their betrayal.

God’s Presence in Difficult Times – Episode 2 of 3  (26:27)

In this study we will learn about the life of Joseph, and how God grew his faith through difficult circumstances. Like Joseph, we can experience difficulties in our lives. Remember that God is always with you, no matter what struggles you face.

Lesson 2 focuses on Joseph in Egypt, including Joseph being thrown in prison because of Potiphar’s wife falsely accusing him, interpreting the Pharaoh’s dreams, and Pharaoh making Joseph the second most powerful leader in Egypt.

God’s Presence in Difficult Times – Episode 3 of 3  (23:08)

In this study we will learn about the life of Joseph, and how God grew his faith through difficult circumstances. Like Joseph, we can experience difficulties in our lives. Remember that God is always with you, no matter what struggles you face.

Lesson 3 focues on Joseph who is now second in charge of Egypt. We will study his long-last meeting with his brothers and how he tested them. Joseph forgave his brothers for selling him into slavery, and was joyfully reunited with his father Jacob.
