This week, King of Glory hosted their first Gathering. Liz, one of our friends who is blind, said over and over, “Praise God.” Together we learned about how we have been recreated in Christ and motivated to be the light of Jesus in our hurting world. Liz demonstrated this through her testimony of forgiveness, and most importantly, the Good News of God’s forgiveness was proclaimed!

Pastor David was a light as he dedicated three nights to the Gathering, leading the group with their favorite songs and worship. It was obvious he knows each of them personally and considers them as part of his congregation. The volunteer companions and caregivers smiled as they enjoyed the fellowship they have with their friends with disabilities.

Is the Gathering necessary? You bet it is!
