My professional career has spanned everything from economic development in the rail industry to retirement planning for a hospital corporation. Now, happily retired, I am devoted to the words of Paul, who said, “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35)
I am an Indianapolis native, and hold a BA from Ohio Northern University. I have always had a heart for kids, having been active in Boy Scout leadership, as well as coaching youth soccer. I am an avid bicyclist, a do-it-yourselfer, and an outdoor enthusiast. My wife, Karen, and I are members of Cornerstone Lutheran Church.
