Joni Borgman

I am blessed with 3 sons, two of which have intellectual disabilities and autism.  We love Connection Ministries. We’ve been involved for 15 years.  Not only do we have friends and fellowship through our local Friendship Bible Study church, but we’ve gained a community of believers who ministered to us through a time of grief.  Our lives are truly enriched by this ministry.

I am a recently retired from a career as professional liability underwriter for a specialty lines carrier.  I’m loving this stage of my life and feel privileged to use my time to serve in this way. 

It is my faith in my Savior and Lord Jesus that gives me the strength to parent and work and serve.  A favorite guiding scripture is Ephesians 1:15-21.  Paul prays for wisdom, understanding, and enlightenment, “…. that you may know the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe…”  Hope.  Riches.  Power.
